We are currently looking for MBA students to join us as part-time Management Associates. Successful applicants may subsequently be offered summer internships or full-time management roles.
The Hereford management experience
As a Management Associate at Hereford, you will be part of a growing and ambitious team whose main task is to carry out the internal office- and investment-related tasks of the firm, along with ongoing assistance to the group's portfolio companies.
A particular emphasis of the Management Associate programme is leadership development, facilitating the supervision and recruitment of high-performing Analyst teams from an early stage.
The Management Associate experience is ideal for candidates who are pursuing an MBA and are seeking part-time private equity work to complement their theoretical knowledge and leadership abilities. Flexible working hours are offered in adjustment to individual requirements; between 15 and 25 hours per week.
Hereford’s Management Associates gain direct exposure to a leadership team recruited from Goldman Sachs, Bain & Co, Virgin and leading global business schools (INSEAD, LBS, Columbia, HBS, Wharton).
We look for the following in our candidates:
Relevant pre-MBA education – a top BSc or MSc in Economics, Accounting or another quantitatively focused field
Structured and systematic approach to own work
Excellent communication skills; verbally and in writing
Ambition and the desire to create a different and unique professional profile
